    Default it would be nice....

if our cat wouldn't pee on the Christmas tree. At least we got 2 weeks which is a record. I had just thought this morning we might make it til Christmas and told the kids we could start putting things under it. Glad it was just the skirt under it so far.

Our cat was the same. We had to get rid of the tree skirt and get a box collar instead. Problem solved.

I've never seen one of those! i like how it looks but it's unclear how it will stop him.

You get rid of the skirt completely. Would he just pee on the floor? My cat only peed on the skirt and once we ditched the skirt she had no interest. Or is he actually spraying the tree since he's a male? I've only ever had girl cats.

hmm, it's a good question. he does sometimes just pee on the floor but now that i think about it there's usually something else that I always thought was collateral damage but maybe was maybe the actual target - shoes, a backpack, floor mat, etc. I'll keep the skirt off for a couple days and see what happens.

They sell those block-like covers at Michaels if you need it ASAP.
