    Default Iso vacuum rec

Our trusty eureka vacuum finally bit the dust after 15 years. We went to a vacuum store and they sold us on a $650 ricaar upright. The main selling feature was the good name and that we could switch between hard wood and carpet bc we have about 75% carpet. I liked that about our eureka though that function broke a couple years ago. I took the ricaar home and was impressed on the hard floors but not the carpet. I think my $150 eureka had more suction. We can trade in the ricaar at the vacuum store. They have Miele, Sebo, simplicity. Any recommendations? I have a stick vac I can use on the hard floors if I have to choose something that can’t switch between surfaces. Hoping to not spend more than $650.

Well, I would have recommended a Dyson but that isn't on your list. We got our Dyson off of Woot years ago and I love it so, so much. It works on all floor types.
