I'm not sure your options or what you are considering, but if you find bottoms that fit, but are less modest than you prefer, you could wear them like underware under the swimsuit bottom you prefer... or you could wear period underware under a swim bottom for the few days you need it.

I do have a pair of swim material shorts that don't have built in briefs, so I was thinking I could wear those over some that were not quite modest enough if needed. As long as they are comfortable and not wedgie-inducing!

Amazon has these that look to be very full coverage:

Also the swim shorts that TwoWhat? Posted might work.

I had a pair of full coverage Ruby Love swim bottoms for myself and wouldn't recommend them. I bought mine in 2020 so maybe they've improved them, but mine got completely stretched out and became see through in the butt after wearing them a handful of times in my jacuzzi. They worked fine for a light period, but definitely not for anything greater than that. I definitely bleed through them and had blood dripping onto my pavers and on my towel. Glad I only wore them at home!

Have you tried any other brands?

Also what brands of cloth pads do you have? I am thinking of ordering some to add to the swim suit.

No, I haven't tried any other swim ones.

All my cloth pads are minky ones from Pink Lemonade. I'm not sure if she sells ones without wings though which is what you'd need for swim bottoms. https://pinklemonadeshop.3dcartstores.com/

Couldn’t you just tuck the wings and snap the wings underneath the pad when you put them in the swim bottom? It might be a little bulky but better than nothing.

You could but I think it would be super bulky, they're not like paper thin Always Infinity pads. I've been using them for nearly 20 years so I'm used to them but others would probably find them super bulky if they're used to modern disposable pads.

Thanks! We use Stayfree Ultra thin most of the time so not quite as thin as Always, but not as bulky as the old school pads I wore before I started wearing tampons. I sent a message to the Pink Lemonade shop owner as well. I just want her to be able to swim on vacation if she gets her period. She likes soft non irritating materials so they might be worth a shot.

I feel like a pad would be visible with the bulk of it, even the thin ones. That’s not an option I’d consider.
