MiFold vs Bubble Bum?

Which is better for travel? 9 year old, about 40 Lb. We are flying next month and I’m not yet sure if we will be renting a car or using Uber, so I want something I can easily keep with us rather than leave in the car. We could take our small Cisco backless booster but something even more compact would be great. I was planning to go with the Mi Fold but it is out of stock everywhere!

Bubble bum is much more consistent in providing a safe seatbelt fit. Fit for the mi fold is really hit and miss and can also vary a lot between vehicles.

We liked our Bubble Bum for DS2. Never used the Mifold.

It's been a few years so things could have changed slightly but I much preferred the Bubble Bum. We had the Bubble Bum but I drove a kinder classmate home a handful of times and her mom always sent her Mifold. It wasn't intuitive and wasn't easy to get a decent fit.

I was searching for the Mi-Fold for DGS who is 6 and couldn’t find it in stock either! I thought it was so compact without the hassle of inflating and deflating all the time. But after this feedback, I think I’ll give the Bubble Bum another look.
