I read your trip review from your last trip to London and it was very helpful. I am definitely interested in the Stonehenge tour you went on. We are somewhat in between being planned to the hilt and going with the flow. I get that each day is going to have to have a plan though because there is just so much to see.

We do too. I try to build in some things that we can drop in the event that we want to be spontaneous, but my least favorite vacation event is the dynamic of everyone looking at me wondering what we're doing next. I'd rather plan it early and then pivot than have to figure it out on the fly. I tried to have DH plan a day once - his plan was literally "breakfast, activity, lunch, activity, dinner" with NOTHING identified for what to do or where to go.

I set it all up on a Trello board and make sure that everyone has the app active on their phone. They don't get to ask me - they have the tools to answer their own questions and are expected to help navigate, etc as needed.

For itinerary building, look at the Wanderlog app. I used it for Montreal and NYC recently. Best travel app I’ve used. It can optimize your wishlist and put it into logical order. Sometimes it needs a bit of help if you have certain benchmarks (like you want breakfast across town then go from there) but easy enough to rearrange

That Stonehenge tour is awesome and was recommended by someone on this board! And you can see where we skipped some things on our itinerary or the trains ran late, etc. So you do have to be flexible.
