Natural looking hair gel / pomade

DS1’s has always been wake and go with his hair. Not always the neatest but not a fight I needed to fight. I’m looking for something for those times he would do well to have neat hair. He won’t wear anything that makes it obvious he has product in his hair. Is there something that would help tame the strays but that would look natural. Thanks!

My DH is low low low hair maintenance and refused product for ages. I got him using Aveda Control Paste pomade and it works great for mild hold, taming, but isn't sticky and doesn't look greasy or shiny like gel.

The other option would be KMS Hair Play Dry Wax. It's an aerosol spray. I use it on my bob length hair to tame fly aways and give it a bit of a dirty second day hair feel. It won't hold a style in place but gives it a little extra something so it's not just flopping in the breeze!
