We continually max out our icloud accounts and get the message that they can't backup because it is too full. And most of that is from pictures. I do have mine transferred to Google Photos automatically, but they are also still on my iphone for some reason.....DH thinks we should just upgrade our icloud storage space to share with the whole family (4 of us). Or is Google photos or something else a better option? What do you use as a family?

It?s super cheap to buy either more iCloud or google cloud storage. I would consider the few dollars per month worth it. You should be able to see/access your photos in google photos on your computer to prove they are there. Download special ones. Or upload to yet another place like Shutterfly. Our favorite pictures of each year end up there too. I feel like I have all my bases covered but who knows.

Also, have you checked out what?s really filling up your space? Anytime someone texts me a pic or video it lands in my storage. My in laws send videos of their kids doing cute stuff all the time and even if I don?t intentionally download them, they take up space.
