Tips to use scoir?

I haven't done much with my Scoir account yet. Parents got access to a Scoir account at the end of sophomore year. I saw that we could explore colleges based on student interest. School is yet to upload information for DS1 e.g. GPA or results of job survey test he took with school counselor etc.
I looked through old threads and I found mention of Naviance and how you can assess your students chances of getting in based on data from previous students at your school. I don't see any such info on scoir. But maybe I'm not looking in the right spot or its too early for this info to be available?
I'd love to get some tips on using Scoir effectively. Any must dos this summer either for me or DS1?
