    Default Keep or Toss??

I accidentally left out a frozen pork butt on the counter overnight. I just checked the temp of it and it's 46, middle is 43. Should I throw it away? I'm thinking yes, but thought I'd check just in case I can salvage it and throw it in the crock pot.

hmm...I think you could throw it in the crockpot. I might sear it first all around because slow cookers take so long to bring up the temp. Might be good to give it a head start. But, my logic might be faulty!

Everything happens for a reason, sometimes the reason is you're stupid and make bad decisions

I'd cook it today. Lots of people still thaw mean on the counter overnight.
