Am I remembering right that Amazon puts out a coupon during Christmas for a % off a book? I finally have a good book to use it on but haven't seen the discount. Did I miss it?

Do you still get credits for delaying shipping? I only get an extra 1% on my credit card so on a $10 order, I only get 10 cents--not worth it for delaying shipping unless I am not in any rush at all.

No, I don?t have the Amazon card. It happens more often during this season and only if I order two or more items.

Target sometimes does specials like buy 2 get one free for books, games, and music. A few weeks before Thanksgiving they had buy one get one 50% off that I used for some baking books for DD2.

No general discounts so far. However, I always keep a longish wish list of Kindle books (regular, not Kindle Unlimited). I’ve learned to check the list fairly often because occasionally a title is heavily discounted for one day only with no warning. During the week before Thanksgiving I picked up 3 or 4 books that I’d been watching for quite awhile at really significant discounts. Of course, like most bargain hunting, it takes regular checking and then jumping on discounts. (My friend used to think I was wasting my time reviewing CVS rewards card special discounts…until he began to see the benefits!)
