Default Anti perspirant doesn't work anymore! What works?

For some reason the antiperspirant/deodorant I have used for years (Secret in multiple types including the clinical) no longer works. My armpits are like faucets as of maybe 8 months ago.
I tried more natural deodorants over the past year or so (Lume) but I just could not get over the wet feeling. But when I tried my antiperspirant/deodorant again it's like I have nothing on.
And even though I hate the feeling, it hasn't been a disaster because I sweat at work anyway and mostly wear active wear but OMG last night I had to wear a nice blouse and it did feel like a disaster. Again, faucets.
Thankfully I don't think I stink, just sweat.

Is this menopause? I must be at least peri but it's hard to say for sure since I had a hysterectomy a few years ago and my Gynocologist says my ovaries were still firing as of last year. My heart has been fluttering too so I need to make an appt to get my hormones tested or whatever they need to do.

Is there anything I can do specific to the armpit sweat thing in the meantime?

DH has tried Certain-Dri which he says works but does seem harsh.

    Any other options?

Certain Dri definitely works. But you have to apply at night, and definitely NOT right after shaving (trust me).

I use Dove for Men deodorant/antiperspirant and it?s the only thing that works for me. As a sweaty person, I sympathize!!

Try another clinical deoderant? If it’s that bad you could do Botox under your arms. That’s a common treatment for hyperhidrosis.

Lume only works for me in the winter but I use this for summer and for workouts and it?s great. I also use the exfoliant in the summer.

Ask your dermatologist for a prescription of Qbrexza!

I became reactive to most deodorants several years ago and I absolutely love this. I hop they never stop making it.

I’d really like to hear more about this. Does it require a doctor to give the injections? Does it help with odor as well as perspiration? Does it require follow-up injections to maintain?

My daughter has the most awful body odor and uses Certain addition to prevent it but even then it sometimes doesn’t work. it’s so bad sometimes I have to wash her clothes a few times to fight the odor. Since she’s a ballerina who wears leotards almost daily, it is embarrassing when her deodorant fails her. I’m wondering if this could be an option?

A Dr. can inject Botox to reduce perspiration. My friend's daughter has hers covered by insurance.

In my 20s I had a Dr. prescribe antiperspirant due to hyperhidrosis, it didn't seem super effective though. I also tried Certain Dri, which I don't remember loving. I would have loved Botox!

What I landed on, and have used for over 20 years, is Mitchum antiperspirant. That has never let me down. There are lots of great reviews for it. Looking back at the excessive perspiration I was dealing with, I kind of wonder if there was an anxiety aspect that could've been addressed - just wanted to throw that out there in case it might be helpful for anyone else.

For the excessive odor mentioned by a PP, I've heard that is often due to bacteria, and that benzoyl peroxide can be good to try.
