Default Hair removal for upper lip on a girl tween?

My DD has started developing hair on her upper lip. This is something I have no experience with- we can thank DH's genetics for this one.

DD noticed it and wants to know what we should do about it in the future. On the plus side, DD is is not at all insecure about her looks, so there is no rush.

You could start with bleaching it or using home wax strips. Some moms find an electric trimmer suits their comfort zones better for younger girls; personally, I'd avoid the trimmer.

The next step is salon waxing, though I found waxing made me break out.

Currently, I have mine threaded, which is more painful, but I don't get breakouts. That's a last resort.

I just shave mine with a razor in the shower. I used to bleach it, but then I had an allergic reaction (right before my wedding!).

    I’d try tweezers.

I use a small electric trimmer. I can't remember the brand, but it looks something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-BRT38...mmer+for+women

I'm too much of a wimp for waxing/threading, and I found the bleach was time-consuming and made a mess. This is super quick, easy, and no mess.

If she has a reasonable pain tolerance or will in the future when she starts using something, I love the R.E.M Spring that I learned about from this board ages ago.

This is what my DD has used since her upper lip sprouted dark hair. I also use it on my upper lip and chin. Super easy, lasts a long time, you can not hurt yourself. No rash, no redness, and it's cheap.

Someone mentioned tweezing, I WOULD NEVER tweeze my upper lip, that area is super sensitive.

Do you only have a few stray hairs on your upper lip, I'd be tweezing forever!!
